More call on Tohono chairman to resign

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2002 The chairman of the Tohono O'odham Nation of Arizona is under more pressure to resign after being arrested in a prostitution sex sting. Four of the tribe's 11 district councils have passed resolutions against Edward Manuel. This is up from two that were reported yesterday. Manuel denies wrongdoing for the October 16 arrest involving an undercover police officer. The incident was not reported publicly for a month. Get the Story:
