Inuit win ruling on gun control law

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2002 A judge in Canada on Tuesday granted Inuits a temporary reprieve from a gun control law they say infringes on their rights. Inuits in the territory of Nunavut oppose the federal law, which requires a license and registration for all guns. They say the law violates their land claims agreement. Get the Story:
