Dam project opposed by tribe half complete

MONDAY, JANUARY 13, 2003 A federal judge plans to rule wihin a month whether to halt work on a dam project that is half complete but which is opposed by the Yakama Nation of Washington. The tribe wants the federal government to include fish ladders at the Keechelus Dam. The dam has undergoing a $32 million repair project. Get the Story:
