Museum to repatriate masks to Hopi Tribe

TUESDAY, JANUARY 14, 2003 A museum at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas is returning four ceremonial kachina masks to the Hopi Tribe of Arizona. The items date to the 1930s. The tribe is hoping to reintroduce them but wants pesticides, which is used as a preserving material, removed first. Get the Story:
