The woman at the heart of an Indian voter fraud probe in South Dakota said she was pleased that the state has temporarily dropped criminal charges against her.

Rebecca Red Earth-Villeda, a member of the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe, is accused of forging absentee vote applications in last year's federal election. She insists she has done nothing wrong and says Republicans in the state have made false accusations against her.
