A program at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh that encourages more American Indian teachers is due to run out of money this year.

Funding for Indian Teachers for Indian Children is being eliminated by the state this year. The Oneida Nation has donated $5,000 to help keep the program, which has benefited about 180 students in its five years of existence, afloat.
