Okla. tribe hires new attorney general

The United Keetoowah Band of Oklahoma has hired a new attorney general.

Barker Harrold, a former Oklahoma district attorney and tribal judge, hopes to establish a tribal court for the UKB. Another priority is resolving the tribe's claims to a $40 million riverbed settlement involving the Cherokee Nation and two other tribes.
