N.M. school board official calls for more Navajos

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2003 A new member of the Central School District board in the Four Corners region of New Mexico wants more Navajos and minorities in leadership positions. Out of 17 administrative positions in the district, which is 85 percent Navajo, only one is held by a Navajo Bernadette Todacheene told The Farmington Daily Times that she wants to improve minority representation.
