The Red Ink magazine published by students at the University of Arizona confronts issues facing Indian Country like stereotypes, gaming and education.

Along the way, the magazine articles help to dispel stereotypes an educate non-Natives, says UA instructor Angel Lawson, a managing editor of Red Ink. She says magazine makes it a point to publish non-cliched writing by Native authors, poets and others.
