The Nebraska Legislature on Thursday held the second day of debate on constitutional amendments to expand gaming in the state.

Talk focused on a proposal to authorize gaming statewide. The Legislature would sort out the details later. This idea is drawing more support, The Omaha World-Herald reported.

A day earlier, a proposal to allow Class III gaming on tribal land was considered. The amendment would also allow up to five casinos in two-mile buffer zones along borders with states that allow similar gambling.
