Two former officials of the Turtle Mountain Ojibwe Tribe of North Dakota are being sent to federal prison for stealing from the tribe.

Former chairman Raphael DeCoteau was sentenced to 27 months in prison and four years of probation. Ronald Morin, another former official, was given 21 months in prison and two year probation.

The pair were indicted as part of a larger scheme in which $100,000 in tribal funds was stolen, according to federal authorities.
