Hopi council ousts vice chairman for 'neglect'

The Hopi Tribe of Arizona has ousted vice-chairman Elgean Joshevama last week for alleged "neglect of duties," The Navajo-Hopi Observer reports.

The tribal council voted unanimously March 4 to remove Joshevama. Council members alleged Joshevama missed meetings and misused tribal money.
