Ho-Chunk tribal member runs for public office

A member of the Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin is running for the state Senate.

Nettie Kingsley will be a write-in candidate for the Democratic primary. She is active in tribal issues, historic preservation and Indian gaming.

The primary, to be held April 1, will determine the Democrat candidate for the 24th Senate District.
