MONDAY, MARCH 24, 2003 A water system on the Crow Reservation of Montana failed over the weekend, leaving about 2,000 residents without water, The Billlings Gazette reports. Classes in Crow Agency have been canceled today and most tribal and federal employees have been given the day off. The local Indian Health Service (IHS) hospital is directing patients elsewhere but has been able to draw water from a well. The cause of the failure was unknown as of Sunday but workers expect the system to be working today. Residents are advised to boil water when the water returns. Get the Story:
