Judge rejects a challenge to tribe's amphitheater

TUESDAY, MARCH 25, 2003 A federal judge in Washington last week rejected a major challenge to the Muckleshoot Tribe's concert amphitheater. Among other complaints, a citizens group says the amphitheater will create major traffic woes. U.S. District Judge John Coughenour said the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers properly analyzed the project. The 20,000-seat amphitheater is set to open in June. It has already booked a number of high-profile acts and shows, including Ozzy Osbourne's Ozzfest and Lollapalooza. Get the Story:
