Saginaw Chippewa council member removed

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26, 2003 Sue Dupree has been stripped of her seat on the Saginaw Chippewa tribal council. Dupree was called to a hearing to answer charges of derelict of duty. According to other council members, she walked out of the hearing and didn't answer questions. Dupree says the council was making wild allegations. She was removed by a 6-2 vote. Get the Story:
