BIA to provide money for N.D. reservation bridge

Construction of a new bridge on the Fort Berthold Reservation in North Dakota will cost $55.4 million, $13 million more than expected, the Associated Press reports.

Tex Hall, chairman of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation, said the Bureau of Indian Affairs will provide $5 million in this fiscal year for the project. Congress has appropriated a total of $35 million.
