Mont. man charged with murder on reservation

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9, 2003 A Montana man pleaded not guilty in federal court to killing a man during a domestic violence incident on the Fort Peck Reservation. Tracy Alan McGowan, 31, allegedly stabbed Dana Charles Kirn, 46, nearly 10 times. McGowan was allegedly upset that Kirn was making advances to his ex-wife, Maude Kirn, who is McGowan's girlfriend.
