Nambe Pueblo in New Mexico has agreed to stop distributing gasoline in exchange for a $20 million payment from the state.

The tribe will receive $2 million a year over 10 years under a deal made official by a new state law. Gov. Tom Talache says the payment will more than cover the costs of shutting down the business.
