Ex-BIA employee given probation for kickbacks

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9, 2003 A former Bureau of Indian Affairs employee from the Crow Reservation in Montana was sentenced to three years probation for accepting kickbacks, The Billings Gazette reports. Emmett Old Bull, 57, said he took $3,000 from a company that was given preferential contracting treatment. He pleaded guilty in January. Get the Story:
