Lori Ann Piestewa, the first U.S. servicewoman killed in action in Iraq, was a "easy-go-lucky" girl who loved shrimp, lobster and Mexican food, her mother tells The Arizona Republic.

"She had an expensive taste for a rez child," Percy Piestewa said of her youngest daughter.

Piestewa, 23, a member of the Hopi Tribe, was killed after her Army unit was ambushed by Iraqi soldiers on March 23.
