Wis. tribe seeks control of child welfare cases

The Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin wants to take over child support enforcement cases from the state.

The tribe says it will be easier to deal with child welfare cases. There are currently 500 cases statewide dealing with Ho-Chunk children.

Two other tribes in the state handle enforcement cases.
