The Oneida Nation of Wisconsin released a poll of local residents that shows support for a new casino gaming pact.

The poll also showed that residents, by a 51-36 ratio, have a positive view of the tribe's gaming operation. Respondents also overwhelmingly said the tribe has spurred economic development.

The tribe is trying to finalize a new compact that would direct more revenues to the state in exchange for an open-ended agreement.
