U.S. Route 666 is likely to be de-demonized after 77 years of being known as "Satan's Highway."

The highway starts in Gallup, New Mexico, runs through the Navajo Reservation and the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation in Colorado, and ends in Utah. The Denver Post says an unusually large number of requests from the tribes, as well as the state of New Mexico, are prompting a name change.
