Oneida Nations honors Native soldiers

THURSDAY, APRIL 17, 2003 The Oneida Nation of Wisconsin held a special ceremony on Wednesday to honor Native Americans in the military. The ceremony paid tribute to Oneida servicemembers. Lori Piestewa, the Hopi woman who was killed in action in Iraq, was also honored. An elementary school on the reservation is raising money for Piestewa's family. Get the Story:
