The case of Larry Wegner, an Aboriginal man who frozen to death on the outskirts of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, was given new life this week by CBC News, which reported previously undisclosed information.

Saskatchewan's justice minister said the case is ongoing although his predecessor said it was closed. The family's lawyer is trying to get clarification.

Willie Littlechild, the head of the Aboriginal justice reform commission, wants his panel to take another look at the case in light of the new information.
