Steve Israel's "Casino Confidential" is back! Or so it seems. The Middletown Times Herald-Record of New York published something looking a lot like it.

In any case, there are plenty of tidbits for those watching the Great Catskills Casino Turtle Race. Including Indian history lessons from George Skibine, of the Bureau of Indian Affairs Office of Indian Gaming Management. He said the Modoc Tribe has little chance of getting a casino in New York not only because the tribe is currently based in Oklahoma but because the tribe is actually from California.

"They're a real long shot," he was quoted as saying.

Keller George of the Oneida Nation and president of the United South and Eastern Tribes (USET) is salivating over a Catskills casino. "But we don't have a partner," he said. And: "We have been told by the governor no casino unless the land claims are settled."
