Indian group urges boycott in 'racist' city

THURSDAY, MAY 1, 2003 A group formed in the wake of the fatal police shooting of a Lakota man in Rapid City, South Dakota, is urging a boycott of three businesses. The Walk for Justice Committee is protesting the death of Lucas Grey Day-Ghost Bear. The group says the boycott, to last for a week, will show the power of the Indian community. Get the Story:
