BIA police officers travel far to do their jobs

The Bureau of Indian Affairs police officers patrolling the Blackfeet Reservation are getting early reports of praise for their work.

Many of them are doing it far from home. The team consists of officers from reservations in Montana, North Dakota Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, New Mexico and Oklahoma. They were called to Blackfeet in March to take over the tribe's police department.
