WEDNESDAY, MAY 7, 2003 Education Secretary Rod Paige continued his tour of rural schools in Alaska but didn't promise to relieve Alaska of the No Child Left Behind Act mandates. Rural and Alaska Native school administrators say they face special challenges including lack of housing, limited transportation and inadequate infrastructure.
