THURSDAY, MAY 8, 2003 The Southern Ute Tribe of Colorado has launched an ethics investigation into two council members, The Durango Herald reported. The councilors approved a $2 million contract without approval, according to documents the paper reviewed. A complaint was filed against Joycelyn Dutchie, who has a tribal court conviction for stealing from the tribe, and Melvin J. Baker for the alleged infraction. Get the Story:
