Appeal of Indian voting rights case rejected

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals won't reconsider its decision to uphold legislative districts in Montana that tribal members say dilutes their voting rights.

The American Civil Liberties Union filed the appeal on behalf of voters on the Blackfeet and Flathead reservations. An ACLU attorney said the plaintiffs will probably seek Supreme Court review.
