FRIDAY, MAY 9, 2003 State officials in Connecticut were criticized on Thursday for allowing the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation to exercise control over water resources. Town officials said they should have been consulted about the extension of the tribe's "service area." They contend the decision will enable the tribe to acquire more land and have it placed into trust. Get the Story:
