Editorial: U.S. still can't account for trust

The federal government has to settle the long-running Indian trust fund case, The Seattle Post-Intelligencer says in an editorial today.

"It seems that the administration -- and this legal battle goes back several administrations -- cannot muster the will to solve the problem," the paper says. "That must change."

The paper says the debacle has already cost taxpayers millions and will cost more unless resolved.
