The Navy's Office of Naval Research will set up a new education center on the Tohono O'odham Reservation in Arizona.

With the aid of a $200,00 grant, the Autonomous Intelligent Network of Systems Science, Math and Engineering Education Center will be operated by the Tohono O'odham Community College, Pima Community College and the Technology Development & Research Institute. It seeks to increase opportunities for Native students who want to work on military systems.
