S.D. tribe to study agricultural development

The Lower Brule Sioux Tribe of South Dakota will study agricultural development options with the support of the state.

The tribe will study a proposed meat-processing operation and a proposed turkey-processing plant.

S.D. Gov. Mike Rounds (R) wants to promote the state's agricultural industry in hopes of boosting the economy.
