Members of the Tohono O'odham Nation of Arizona will go to the polls on Saturday to choose a chairman and vice-chairman.

Incumbents Edward D. Manuel, 56, and Henry A. Ramûn, 68, will face off Vivian Juan-Saunders, 43, and Ned Norris Jr., 47.

Chairman Manuel and vice-chairman Ramûn have been running the tribe for the past eight years. They cite improvements in tribal services and programs. They still want to develop a long-term financial plan.

Juan-Saunders would be the first woman to run the tribe if elected. She wants the tribe to focus on developing a workforce. Norris says finances and long-term investment are an issue.
