Students helping Mont. tribe build with straw

THURSDAY, JUNE 12, 2003 A joint project of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe, Chief Dull Knife College and two universities has helped bring housing to the reservation. Students from the University of Washington and Pennsylvania State University will build a two-story house out of straw. The tribe's housing authority is funding the effort with $50,000. This is the third year of the project. In previous years, students built a literacy center and a single-famiy home. Get the Story:
