Alaska Natives celebrate heritage culture

MONDAY, JUNE 23, 2003

Members of all of Alaska's major tribes, plus some from the lower 48, took part in Spirit Days, a two-day celebration of Native culture.

Spirit Days features singing, drumming, dances and other activities. The event wrapped up with an Eskimo-style blanket toss.
