Ousted Navajo fair board members to file suit

TUESDAY, JUNE 24, 2003 The board that has run the popular Shiprock Fair said it will sue a Navajo Nation chapter for giving control of the event to another entity. The Shiprock Chapter says the fair will be run by the Northern Navajo Nation Fair not the old Shiprock Northern Navajo Fair Inc. Fair Board. The chapter elected new members for its fair board earlier this month. Get the Story:
