WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25, 2003 A teenage girl from the Swinomish Tribe is appearing on a new ABC Family Channel program called Switched! in which teens switch places for four days. Ida, age unidentified, swaps places with Ally, a private-school student in St. Louis, Missouri. "I'm in just complete culture shock right now," Ida says in the episode, according to The Chicago Tribune. At Ally's school, Ida says "nobody fixed their hair that much and, like, nobody really wore makeup." As for Ally, she gets to go fishing with Ida's family but says, "there are no fast-food stands here. That just blew my mind." Get the Story:
