B.C. government ratifies tentative treaty deal

The British Columbia government has ratified an agreement-in-principle to settle outstanding claims for the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation.

The band will receive $13 million and land under the draft treaty. Non-Natives will be allowed participation in the tribal government.
