First Nation bison herd sick dying off

MONDAY, JULY 14, 2003 The Pelican Lake First Nation of Saskatchewan, Canada, is trying to determine why its bison herd is sick and dying. In the past week, four bison have died, a band member said. A veterinarian is being called to assess the herd's condition. Get the Story:
