Crow Reservation man convicted for fatal car crash

THURSDAY, JULY 17, 2003 A federal jury in Montana convicted a Crow Reservation man for a fatal car crash. Walter Stewart Jr., 47, faces up to six years in prison and a $250,000 fine for involuntary manslaughter. A truck the jury determined he was driving crashed on the reservation in July 2001, killing 23-year-old Jarvis Door. Stewart faces additional time for a state drunk-driving s conviction.
