Report: Redskins merchandise worth $5 million

THURSDAY, JULY 24, 2003 Merchandise for the Washington Redskins brings in an estimated $5 million a year, The Washington Post reports. The Redskins has exclusive rights to use the team name and logo. If its trademarks are canceled, others could make their own merchandise, the team argues. Pro-Football Inc. is the corporation that owns the Redskins. It claims it will suffer negatively if a federal judge throws out the federal registrations. Get the Story:
