OCTOBER 9, 2000 The third annual American Indian Day Celebration was held in Omaha, Nebraska, this past Saturday, drawing both Indian and non-Indians alike to the powwow and parade. Included among the dancers and the vendors were a group of physical therapy students from Creighton University. They provided blood pressure and glucose checks. The powwow was sponsored by the Omaha Human Relations Department and the Native Pride Committee. Get the Story:
