MARCH 1, 2001 Canadian Aboriginal actor, producer, and media mogul Gary Farmer will receive an award for his efforts at the Taos Talking Pictures film festival this year. Farmer has starred in a number of movies and television shows, including Smoke Signals. He started the Aboriginal Voices Television Network. The Taos Talking Pictures festival will also honor Elizabeth Taylor, who plans on attending this year's event. It takes place April 5 - 8 in Taos, New Mexico. Get the Story:
