Indian artists headed to Spain

JUNE 4, 2001 More than 400 years ago, conquistadores from Spain arrived in New Mexico. Now, some Native American artists leaving for Spain today to visit some of the places central to the exploration of the New World. The trip is being arranged by the Palace of the Governors, which is part of the atate's Office of Cultural Affairs. Seven artists will be visiting various cities and locales to share their wares with Spain. Get the Story:
