FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2001 Seventh-graders from a Santa Fe, New Mexico, school have been participating in a two-month project to learn more about the history of Pueblo Indians in the state. To cap it off, the students visited an historic Pueblo village called La Cieneguilla. It was occupied by today's descendants of Cochiti and Santa Domingo up until the early 1600s. It was also occupied by the Spanish when they came to New Mexico. Get the Story:
