JANUARY 29, 2001 Schools on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming are debating going to a year-round schedule which one advocate says would increase enrollment and performance. Tally Plume was principal of a Bureau of Indian Affairs school on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. Plume said the year-round schedule he introduced there helped enrollment and test performance. The Wind River Reservation is home to the Eastern Shoshone and the Northern Arapaho Tribes.
